Always-on power sockets?

Can anyone tell me how, and how difficult it would be to fix the power sockets in my E to where they're on at all times? For me it's a PITA to try and charge my cell phone, for example, unless I'm on a long trip. I'd appreciate any info!

I just added two new sockets, both are "always hot" and it was VERY easy. I put them to the left and right of the steering column. I did not like the fact that the factory socket was switched and located on the passenger side. Two outlets from from NAPA, a borrowed 7/8 hole saw and two "add-a-circuits". I tapped fuses #2 and #3 for the always hot feature. It would have been just as easy to use one "add-a-circuit" and splice the leads and grounds from the sockets together. I leave the Ipod in 24/7 with no drain on the battery.
