For anyone contemplating adding the security system purchased from the US in their Canadian model E, it does work! I just installed it in my 2009 E. I purchased it from collegehillshonda.com . Installation is a bit tricky, especially removing the steering wheel column covers, but things went well. Took about 90 minutes with 2 people.

Sorry, no pics of the install – just followed the instructions I downloaded from college hills. Expedited UPS (includes shipping and duty) was about $85. I ordered an armrest and 12V for the rear cabin at the same time which split up the costs a bit. GST upon delivery was about $45 – can't get away from that!
