That is good to know. There is much we need to do as individuals, too. I think this warrants a separate thread.Fortunately, US cities are required to have an evacuation plan for animals and some are actually working on it. I volunteer with an animal diaster rescue group (we took care of over 1,000 animals in Victorville during the Big Bear/San Bernardino fires) and lots of cities have contacted us to help them set up an evacuation plan or at least have a rescue group available to help if needed.
