I think it has a lot more to do with what the dealer orders not what Honda allocates.
You might go to Edmunds new cars, pick the element & start plaing with zip codes and do inventory searchs to see if you can find something. Good luck.

I will never understand the Honda system of Vehicle allocation!!!!!!!!!
when I picked up my SC about a month ago there were plenty of Manual's check Dick Brooks Honda they are in South Carolina.
Have they moved South Carolina when I wasn't looking? I always thought it was east of St Louis.Anyone even seen a Manual 2009 West of St. Louis?
So if I head "West" from Texas......S Carolina is about 24,000 miles and then a bit to the Right?

The THREE I posted are in California, that is WEST of St Louis last time I checked. You asked if there are manual E's west of St Louis, there are. WhyThanks ...not looking as I had a 09 Manual Element on order since LAST YEAR!
Honda could not....WOULD NOT build that car and ship to Texas due the manuals all being "alloted" to the East Coast so they could sit unsold like the two you spotted.
