Hi all... first time poster, but long time reader. Love all the love here at EOC.

With that said, I'm planning a camping trip up to Crown King, AZ, but heard the road can get really bumpy. I just read on the internet that the roads are "washboards" roads. The last time I drove on washboard roads, my E didn't do to well. Had to stop and turn back around it was so bad. So wondering if anybody has made that trip before and how their Element handled it (mine is '05 and 2WD). And I'm definitely not talking about the back-country roads... just the regular route. I'm looking forward to hearing your story. Thanks

I have never driven there but have drove many washboard roads and it depends on how steep the road is and how well its taken care of. You just want to drive at a speed that doesn't rattle the car apart. Good luck on the trip.
