Two Engines

Of course it is. That's one reason I still have mine after 5+ years. I made the mistake of getting rid of my '69 pop top, I won't make that mistake again!......You could get complete engine rebuild kit from JC Whitney for $280.00!!!!

A co-worker of mine had a 1969 VW camper for ages (it has since succumbed to rust). It had the 1600cc engine and he had two! He would have one in the bus and the other he would rebuild at his leisure. At some point, he would swap them and start the process over.... Worked for him.
