Before I bought my E, I tried to buy my cousin's 1984 Vanogon (200,000+ miles) but in the end she couldn't bear to part with it. I sent her the link to this Youtube, and I think that was made her back out in the end.

I have to admit I feel safer traveling in a 2008 car with less than 20,000 miles on it - but I still wish I had the vanagon.
