Anyone install volunteer fire lights?

I want to install a lightbar type emergency light (for volunteer firefighter) across my roof, has anyone done this? If so, did you use the roof rack mounting holes? Where did you mount the switch inside? Anything else I should be on the look out for?

Thanks for the info.

I'm involved with EMS and have opted for a reflector assisted dash light which fits great on the huge dash that we have in our vehicles. It gets the light at eye level where the drivers ahead of you can see it and, believe it or not, they actually move for you. I've been in the "business" for over 15 years and have found the dash mounts to be the most effective. You can get some great additional effects from strobes mounted in your headlights also. Then you won't have the holes in your roof or that big clunky look that comes with putting bar lights on your personal vehicle. Leave them on the fire truck, where they're supposed to be.
Be safe in what you do.

I have 110wattt strobes in my headlights and taillights. They move out of the way great with those.
