I recently joined the E club! The current stock tires/rims are not doing it for me as I need something that can provide a bit more traction. I love the looks of the old Jeep diamond pattern rims and was wondering if anyone is running them? Or if there is an issue I am not seeing.

Considering picking these up and mounting 235-75r15's on them:

Land vehicle Tire Wheel Vehicle Motor vehicle

Thanks in advance!

If the lug pattern is the same and the center bore large enough.
Offset will need to be close to stock.

114.3x5,
cb 64.1mm
offset 45mm
Rim width 6.5 inches

If you want to go with larger brakes later on 16 inch rims are needed.
235/65-16 fit on stock size rims.

Here are the specs on the rim I am looking at:
Wheel Diameter: 15
Wheel Width: 7
Wheel Size: 15x7
Number of Lugs: 5
Bolt Circle: 4.5
Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5
Material: Aluminum Alloy

Only thing I am unsure of is the centerbore and offset. How import is the centerbore for the element?

Thanks for the quick reply!

Did a quick check
15 inch jeep wheel

114.3x5

cb 71.5mm, hub centric ring needed

Offset 25mm, large spacer needed, not recommended.

Jeeps are considered rwd and Element fwd.

Center bore helps keep the wheel centered
Less stress on the lug studs.

71.5 to 64.1 adapters are inexpensive most are made if plastic.
May need different lug nuts since the Jeep uses 1/2-20 , Element M12-1.5
All depends on what the aluminum Jeep rim requires.
