im an audio semi-newb so i may be saying something sorta stupid but...

now im just throwing this out there, you may take it or just leave it, im just saying....

Infinity kappa 60.9cs component speakers KICK so much fanny its redonkculus.

ive been running four Alpine R coaxials in my car for 3 years now and i always thought they were great... it just bothered me that i wasnt utilizing the lil tweeter space on my A pillar so recently i decided to buy the kappa components to fix that. turns out, the kappa tweeters were too big to fit in the A pillar so i just had them installed int he door anyway. in any case, the result was still astonishing. these kappa speakers will blow your mind. i can now hear things in my music i never heard before, singers inhaling, people saying things in the background, you can almost isolate each instrument cause its so clear.

just throwing it out there for anyone whos looking for speakers to boost their system.

you can get these brand new for 120 on ebay, on a lucky day.

I was looking at those speakers a lot, and they were definitly cheaper than the Pioneer's I wound up buying, and I'd have no idea where I'd put those blocky things in my doors comfortably. I'll probably check them out now.

I was looking into speakers. Thank you for the heads up. It was between this and some Pioneer Premier speakers. I will probably go this route as I have heard a TON of great things about this and have heard them in other cars beside the Element.

Just ordered these as well as a kicker 6.5" sub and infinity 62.9i components for the front.
Everything will get powered by an Alpine PDX-5 5 channel amp.
