Brake rotors / rims question

Ok. I got my brake recall done in late April and then had to get my front rotors machined (shaved) and replaced all four tires with General Grabbers HTS. I guess I am paranoid but I think the front rims are pretty warm after I get done driving. Is this normal? I know front rotor gets very hot but is the rim suppose to be warm after driving? It may be normal. Would like input please - again, I may just be paranoid and shouldn't worry.
