I am going to order a broadway convex rear view mirror off of ebay, but was curious about the tinted version. What is the significance of having a tinted rear view mirror?

Im gonna guess here, but since the broadway mirror will not let you tilt it
for hi-beams at night, you would get a tinted one. If you have a lot of idiots
in your part of the world that drive with their hi-beams on, get the tinted one.
I dont think I have ever used the bright lights tab on the bottom of my rear
view mirror.

Or maybe it just looks cool!!

:-D

To bump an old thread for an interesting question - my windows are 5% in the back and sides and 20% on the front two along with black and grey interior. Needless to say, it's dark inside. Would the blue tinted mirror make things even darker at night? I'm leaning towards yes, but I do not have personal experience with the blue or both units side by side to compare.
