Congratulate me! I just got my first ugly rock chip on the hood this weekend, tried to touch it up. So therfore I ordered the bug deflector from H&A to help prevent this from happening. Now my question is can I go through the carwash with it and is it something that should be removed every now and then to clean. Has any one had problems with it at all. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I've gone through the carwash with my bug deflector still attached about 3 or 4 times so far, and no problems yet... It does vibrate a bit when the dryers are blowing on it.

The deflector would really be a pain to try and remove before a carwash, probably take 5 to 10 minutes, and I think it requires a screwdriver... could be wrong.

i haven't taken the deflector through a car wash but i do agree that the honda product vibrates at highway speed something fierce sometimes. it has a long trailing edge that leads away from the hood.

anybody with one come up with a method to reinforce or brace this ?

had thought of using clear rubber nibs for furniture but they are too small....
