Got home with my new orange Element yesterday evening! Been busy customizing, such that it is: orange bungee cord on the seats, installed the rear bumper trim, replaced the headlight bulbs with the Sylvania Silverstar that a couple people here recommended (good call), installed carpet floor mats, more. Had boxes of mail ordered accessories sitting in my dining room for a couple weeks now!

Put it all together, and it all makes the vehicle look pretty slick. I recommend the rear bumper trim & the carpet floor mats. The bumper trim is both functional and looks great, and the dark charcoal interiors really look good with those mats. Orange bungee looks good, too, with the orange paint that leaks to the inside of the doors!

Listen to me, starting to sound like some kind of designer! Just obsessing a little over the new vehicle.

Anyone install the door visors? I bought them thinking they'd be nice to have, but they install with some adhesive. So if I don't like them...?

Thanks!

bqbauer,

We have the door visors installed. This is the 1st vehicle I got them on, and I was not too sure about them at 1st. They do help quite a bit keeping the windows open in the rain.

I am still not 100% sure of the look of them, they are a bit strange, but I am not planning on removing them yet.

Are the visors useful in keeping out wind or wind noise, and do they provide any function with the windows all the way down (like keeping the wind out of your face)?

It rarely rains in San Diego, but I do like fresh air and having my windows open at least a little when driving.

Thanks for the input.
