I had no idea how competitive the car buying process really was. I have been actively researching and corresponding with the 4 Honda dealerships in my area. So far, they haven't budged too much on MSRP, but I do have them fighting $100 there, $100 here, etc. I WILL be buying my Shoreline Mist Element in less than 2 weeks Anybody have some tips on how I can get the best price. And what exactly is that price?

At the end of January when I bought mine here in OKC, i paid MSRP. I think the dealers are only discounting the DX models around here because they don't have air-con. You know what our past summers are like and being without air-con would be the pits.

Hey, thanks for your help. What Trim level did you get? Which dealer did you go to? I can pay MSRP as long as the Customer Service at the dealership is really good. Right now, $19910 is the MSRP for my 2WD EX AT, I have it down to $19100.

I got my EX 5 spd 2wd at Steve Bailey Honda. I have purchased from every dealership in the OKC area and they are, by far, the most professional and easiest to get along with.

when i first started my car search, Steve Bailey, by far was the only dealership who gave me what I would call Customer Service. Bob Howard acted as if I were wasting their time. Fowler was too aggressive. And Eskridge didn't really correspond with me any and when i drove to the dealership, wasn't even acknowledged.

i have pretty much decided that Mark Forth and team at Steve Bailey is where I am going. I called him today in fact to confirm the color.
