Can I splice in some extra subs to the factory sub?

Ok, before you guys flame me, I'm completely illiterate to sound systems. I searched the forum but can't find exactly what I'm looking for.
I have a sub that's been sitting in my garage since I've traded in my integra for my E. I was wondering if I could just splice them into the existing factory sub without damaging anything.
I'm really low budget here, actually NO budget to be exact. Just seeing if I can use what I have laying around.

The original subwoofer is one dual coil speaker, matched to the amplifier. I wouldn't suggest wiring other speakers directly in parallel with it.

If you were to use another amplifier, you could probably tap across the existing subwoofer's leads for the amplifiers' input signal.

just plain no. especially if you have zero budget cause you will need quite a bit of money to fix or replace the factory amp if you do. and with no budget, it really isnt worth getting into how to add things in this thread since there are already sooooo many other threads that this info has been answered in.
