pardon me but it seems he (much like myself) doesn't want the WHOLE SC console swap but wants a better storage area/arm rest and cup holders.

I think I'm going to go w/ the Ebay option myself, but I'll offer up a couple suggestions I've looked into in the last few weeks:

1) There is a removable console in the '04-'09 Toyota Sienna Minivan (XLT) that is a PERFECT color and fit. I have a customer with one of these and took the opportunity to yank it out of his van and set it in my Box. The downside, they are uber-hard to find, if you do find them salvage yards want close to $300 (found so far) for one. New is a hilarious joke at $800+.

That thing is awesome though, huge cavernous, multiple storage areas, at least 4 cup holders (might be 6), etc.

2) Lexus RX-300 (say 98-04/5?) has a center console that I feel could be easily adapted to our cars, would have to make a minor modification to a portion in the front that is a catch-all in the RX but would be better off trimmed away for our cars. Has cup holders and good storage. This one I've found for $65 at one yard so far. I know I could have gotten it for $40-50 but the one I found so far was the wrong color so I passed.

Good luck and let me know what you come up with

OK, so here is Version 1.1, I will probably make version 2.0 in a couple weeks when I find more time.

This is a Rampage Center console I got from Amazon. Decent quality, I like the cupholders, the storage and materials are OK (not OEM but not awful). For the $35 price and a bit of modification time I'd say it's a 6.5 out of 10.

Version 2.0 will be a tiny bit higher, mabey a tiny bit back (although I'm debating that one since I like keeping that 3rd cupholder spot). And painted/covered of course.

It's quickly removable from the wing nut and has a hinge on that back piece so I can tilt it up about an inch for the occasional use of the E-brake. It's accessible and useable but obviously is slightly obscured now.

Obviously there's a bit more underneath than what shows in the pictures, I'll expound if anyone is interested.
