I'm thinking about setting up a short Route 66 rally in central Illinois to benefit the Humane Society for sometime in the summer of 2010. Since the Element is the number 1 dog friendly car, I thought the Humane Society would be a natural beneficiary of any funds we might collect. Although we all would know that this is an "Element" event, I'd probably consider other utility box type vehicles as well. Would anyone out there be interested?

glad to see someone else from central illinois. i rarely see owners posting from illinois, let alone central illinois!

my wife and i camp alot in the summer, but as long as we knew the date in advance we should be in for a rally.

I'm definitely interested Dave. I think it would be a hoot. I'm thinking about contacting the Honda dealership and see if they'd be willing to sponsor? If they see that it's for a good cause, they might provide some $$$ (good PR for Honda too).

if i see the orange E i'll take a pic. i wasn't able to tell what graphics were added because we were driving in opposite directions.

davec... saw you today leaving SF illinois office area. that is a large EOC pirate sticker on the back window!
