could be a lot of things. Check:

-loose lugs
-brake calliper rattling around
-sway bar endlinks loose
-strut mounts
-wheel bearing (grab the top of the tire and shake in and out, if it clicks, this is your clunk)

Clunking over bumps eliminated!!!

03 with 103k miles. Had been clunking over bumps for the past 6 months.
After searching the forum for a common denominator cure, I decided to
try replacing the sway bar bushings. Replaced all 4, front and rear, which
eliminated all clunking. Might replace all 4 end links as well.

Notes: Front # 51306-SCV-000 EA $ 4.03 Hinshaws Honda auburn wa
Rear # 52306-SCV-000 EA $ 3.80 (same)

Notes: applied Syl-Glide grease to new bushings
note the direction of the "split" when removing
the front bushing clamps seem to be directional as well (see arrow)

Hope this was helpfull.

For the record I was clunking also. I pulled the rear sway bar bushings and could see they were worn. I didn't have new ones as I was just trouble shooting. I noticed they are actually mounted on the bar right as it starts a radius which wears them out. After seeing this I cleaned the bar and switched sides so the radius would wear on the opposite side for a while. I lubricated the bar and bolted it back up. No more clunking for over a year and then it started again so now I'll get new ones. If your tired of the clunk but don't have any new ones yet it's pretty simple to just swap sides and get a year to buy new ones!

I'm having the same sound over bumps. 72k Miles, 2005. I guess once this disgusting winter is over, I'll have a look see and have the bushings replaced.

As I get older I realize more and more why we name cars after women.....
