Greetings,

My '08 manual E has 21K miles on it.
In the past month or two I've noticed that the clutch is becoming notably less stiff.
I've never owned an Element before; however it seems to me as though it might be softening/wearing somewhat faster than normal clutch wear.
I am very careful to not ride the clutch.

Does anyone have any thoughts/experience with this?

Have the clutch fluid changed (same stuff as brake fluid) and the clutch hydraulics checked. Could be air in the line, or master or slave cylinder problems. This is a warranty issue, so take this concern to your dealer.

I'd be truly surprised if it was an issue with the clutch itself given your E's relative youth.
