Did the deed for an SOP
Well, after weeks of shopping and going to multiple dealers I have made my deal for the EX AWD SOP. I found the list very useful in establishing a bargaining range for price. Many dealers are still not discounting from MSRP and would try to tell me no dealer was...but I knew differently based on the list. I was actually able to get one dealer to offer $1000 off MSRP but I ended up going with a local store that offered $300 off, has my car in stock and didn't treat me like the elevator didn't go to the top. I am really looking forward to picking up the car. I must admit that the SOP is the most outrageous color I have had in a car and I hope I don't wake up thinking "What have I done?" But I like different and this car certainly is. I have to thank the list for keeping me focused as I shopped.

Where are you? I wanted the exact same vehicle, couldn't find one in five surrounding states, ended up ordering the one I wanted, in January and will finally get it (they swear!) the middle on next week! Of course, since I ordered it, I had to pay full price. Consider yourself very lucky!

Yesterday I left the office at 3pm. Since then we DX'd out two and sold the remaining one last night.

Will someone please tell me what an SOP is?
Going on two months waiting on my 2WD SOP and just got call from dealer and informed that it won't be untill April sometime. He hopes, no promises. He said that 2WDs are harder to get than 4WD and that fact that I want SOP really makes it difficult. I've been buying accessories from Hondacura -world so much that I almost have enough to build my own. They say patience is a virtue.....I would rather be a bitch and have my Element. Ha, Ha.

Yeah they are not staying on the lots.. I have my Blue, and was curious to see an SOP in person.. I saw one just listed in inventory at my local dealer, did a drive by it was already gone.. woosh!
Yeah, but looking at how many people are eating them up, we will have this sea of Orange Elements, ahhh nooo.
Anyhow ENJOY & Congrats xsiddr.. Enjoy, enjoy.. I doubt you will regret it, it is obviously a desirable color.. i was tempted to get one too, but i would have preferred it to have a cream interior, that would have looked neat! Oh well.

Tomorrow will be the third morning of waking up to see my SOP in front of the house...the sky does seem just a little brighter...really, I don't think it's my imagination. I am really enjoying this car. I can't get over how dramatically different the color looks at different times of the day. Got my first tank of gas tonight. How nice it was to get regular after all the years of premium in my VW Eurovan and to get 24mpg to boot! Anway, love this car.
