has anyone done a side by side comparison of an Alabaster Silver Metallic and a Satin Silver Metallic E? I ask because Im thinking about getting ASM fenders to replace my blue plastic fenders... Is there a huge difference in the two colors?

haven't done the side by side, but my color memory says that the ASM is a lighter shade of silver and the difference would be noticed.

silver is a very noticable color when the two arent exactly the same.

The difference in the two colours will only matter if you are buying used panels. If you buy new panels they only come primered and will have to be painted. The parts cataloges show them as coming prepainted...but when you get them they are just primered.
