WARNING! DO NOT remove this black panel! It is attached with 2 screws from the inside of the window track. Although quite tricky, the interior door panel can be removed without removing this black trim.


its way to hard to replace the panel with this piece left on.
it pops off quite easily, careful look from the out side for the 2 screws, a little lower than the screws you will see a metal retaining clip, with a flat headed screwdriver you can put pressure on the clip from the outside of door and release it, it pops right off,
when reassembling remember to pop the lock rod mechanism into its plastic retaining clip

I'm pretty sure I have a pic of the underside of this panel so you can see how this comes out/is connected. metro is correct though.
