I don't know how to embed the video but here is a link. The source video is in 1080p so download it if you want full quality.

I can't believe how deep of snow this thing can go through. I also learned that with the proper technique I can do really tight donuts.

There is a point in the video where I slide off the road, it was not on purpose, but I stayed on the gas and managed to save it....

Those are some great camera angles, and the video quality is really good. The snow doesn't look that deep just looking around, but it certainly is up on the front and over the wheel wheels. It is reassuring as for snow clearance. Are you running snow tires? You went off the road when you were going too fast on that straight. Looks like fun.
That was sick, dude!!! Totally awesome! Looked like you had a lot of fun. :)
thanks for sharing.

what camera and camera mount were you using?

for most of the video i couldn't tell whether you were on road or off road.
Now that's what I call Fun. The wife goes bonkers when I do that with her in the car though!

Same here Dom. That was a good video....I could have done without the music the entire time and just listened to the sweet sound of the turbo spooling and the bov. like near the end. I will concur, the E can actually turn some pretty tight donuts
Don't worry I'll post another video with more audio soon. For driving in the snow I have to use the waterproof case on the camera, which kills the audio. I have some dry footage that you can actually hear the engine better.

I'm using a go pro HD cam. And no I don't have snow tires. Just pirelli scorpion ats's. We got about 18"-24" of snow in most areas. I think I'm going to go out and try to find some more unplowed lots

Wolf Mother is an awesome band. You are a bad boy for driving like that. I should tell your mother.

I take it you finally sold your turbo leftovers...
Nice Video bud, and I agree with Nismo, you need a video without the music.
You have some cool videos there. Good job.
Totally sick! What and awesome video. Thanks for sharing!
That Go Pro is a great unit. Can't wait to get one.
nice video! i want to drive around in the snow, but here in Northern VA we got 3ft.. so im skeptical.. but ill see. I dont have a camera that can take video though..

oh and by the way, did you ever find that part of your exhaust that bolts to the cat, that you were going to sell to me? i was just looking for the flange part and possibly a little bit of piping..
snow driving

i was wondering if you had the vehicle assist off when driving, I currently have my 08 honda element ex (AWD) stuck in 22 inches of snow in my driveway. I think your tires are winners
Awww man I want noodle wipers like those. LoL. Gotta love digital video. I just got a Kodak ZI8 Pocket cam and it does 1080p or [email protected] Pretty sweet lil cam. There's a waterproof Kodak coming out in april (i think) that will do 1080p. for $150 it could be a good alternative to your setup.

The OP has an 06, so no VSA on 03-06 model years. If I ever get up to the snow, I'm turning the VSA off. Sounds like it is more trouble than its worth in snow like that...

Great video. I really like where your neighbors are just standing in their yards staring at you. I think they want elements now. :)

I was trying to remember who was looking for that piece. I had found it and then after christmas when I was looking for it, it seems to have vanished. Sorry man...
