I have an EX 2WD auto. Personally, I wouldn't bother with the DX for the following reasons:
1)the stock stereo in the Honda is pretty awesome and has a subwoofer
2)you don't get A/C
3)I think the stock wheels on the DX look like crap
4)If you ever want to sell or trade in the DX down the road, they're going to be less desireable
5)I don't think the price difference between the 2 is that much. I've heard of folks getting EX 2wds for $18500 (I paid 19K). The 4WD EX's are a little more.
I would think dealers would be a little more generous in haggling with the DX's b/c they're not as popular. Ultimately of course the choice is yours. Either model is going to drive awesome. But I would get an EX (and I'm a cheapskate!).
