Has anybody used Dynamat hoodliner with any success in cutting down on engine / road noise?

Not on an Element, but my dad used it on his old truck.
It's more designed to cut down on engine noise than road noise.

Do you remember how it worked out on the truck?

Fine for engine noise (it was on the hood and firewall) not so much for the road noise though. Course, after its application, you could tell there were noises other than the 454 V8.
