It will NOT. It just got its make over for the 09 year. The 10 will be the same
as the 09 with probably some exterior color changes. There will be a doggie
edition E for 2010!!

Boy , its pretty clear that doggie edition was not designed by a dog owner.

Thumbs down!

They use those at car shows just to illuminate the interior of the vehicles. Dont woory those will not be they in 2010. :)
Accessories?

Looking for accessories on the 09 model? Any web sites out there that shows items for an 09? All I can find is 07 - 08

Hmmm that's good news that they have a 2010 model. Any info if the E will survive past then?
After 2010, it's anyone's guess especially with the current state of the auto industry. If the Element is around in 2011, it will be completely redesigned.

It's important to note that Honda still wants to bring over the Honda Stream in the near future in addition to the Insight and Hybrid Sports Car concept... that means Honda could have three new models coming out in a two-year span... Honda may decide not to overextend itself with a redesigned E, but nothing is set in stone at this point.
If sales don't pick up to more than 1100/month average i doubt there will be a 2011 model year for the E. It is still a niche vehicle. How long will Honda keep building the E if it only sells 13,000 units this year?

I could see current E continue, but I don't see any car maker, in this bad economy, redesign a new lower cost car model for a 1100/month sales #.
It may be a niche vehicle but a cheap one for them to produce. It is not like the NSX/S2000 niche market that involves expensive components. It may be one that they hang on to long enough for a real redesign before completely letting it go.

I don't really see what they could do to make a big change to the E without losing the E. So far they have made the front look a lot like the Pilot/Ridge. I doubt they will ever offer an engine option. Anything else to the interior will make it too much like the CR-V and it can't really get any more sparse. Maybe they will come out with the concept model X as the redesign:rolleyes:

Now, THAT is a great idea !!! :):)

I am thinking of getting another E. I traded mine last year for a Subaru. If there is no new design I think I'll get a pop-top element. would still be cheaper than my sti.
Honda is going to like to keep it's lineup close to what it is now, especially with the current state of the economy.

That being said, with the new Insight, the sports concept hybrid coming out either next year or the year after, and the Honda Stream still listed as "soon coming to USA', I wonder if the Element will be the odd one out...
