My first post here and here's my story. I had an 05 model LX but recently was rear ended when I stopped to make a left hand turn. My Element was totaled but considering the speed of the truck that hit me,( est. to be 60 mph by the body shop) I was really surprised how well my 05 held up. So well in fact that I made up my mind I was going to get another Element. My wife repeatly brought this up while I was thinking over which cars I should look at. I really enjoyed my 05 model and after I had gotten over the shock of being slammed into, I knew there was no other choice. My new 10 model arrives in 4days.

We see many posts about just how well the Element does for it's passengers when hit.

They willingly give their lives so the people can live. Fantastic little car!
