I have an '03 Element EX with only 32,000 miles on it. Recently the exhaust has started making a very loud noise from a leak under the car when accelerating. It is not noticeable at all when idling. I had the car in the dealer for an oil change and asked that they check into it and advise what the problem might be. I went back in the service bay and they explained it might be leaking from one of two places, that the seals needed to be replaced. I found a good explanation in this thread - http://www.elementownersclub.com/for...ad.php?t=61780 My question is, the cost the dealer service people quoted me was a "couple hundred bucks" and that it would take three hours. This seems a bit much. Anyone else have similar repairs done? How much did you pay? Thanks!
