I had a small but annoying exhaust leak coming from the clamp after the catalytic converter so i decided to snug the bolts up. Well that turned out to be a bad idea, i broke one of the bolts and decided not to even touch the other bolt. So this morning i get in and it throws the p1157 code. Which i believe is the upstream Air/Fuel sensor High Voltage. What gives? The exhaust leak doesn't seem to be anymore noticeable. Even if it was, i don't see how it could effect the Air/Fuel sensor before the cat.

Any ideas? Is it just a coincidence that the sensor went bad after i broke an exhaust bolt?
