Hi,

I'm taking out the factory sub and the mobile video system I'm installing will be 5.1.

I'm concerned that the factory amp has a built in crossover that may not be switchable. I need a full range signal to go to my center channel.

Anyone know if I can use one of the factory amps sub channels to power a full range center channel speaker?

Scott,

Unfortunately your fears are correct. The only way to get full range sound out of that amp is by not going through it.

You could splice into the wiring running between the radio and the amp but I'm not sure how much power this provides.

And yes, the amp crossover points are not switchable.
