Finally remembered to take a pic today but had this installed last summer plus the Metra Axxess steering wheel control interface. Many thanks to the OP - Dr. Element, for initiating..

They won't operate until you acquire the back steering wheel controls. I didn't acquire it since I have a 2005 and it didn't come with any accessories.

Steering wheel control is an OPTION for the Boss BCPA9.
The stereo will work with or without them.
