okay do not laugh. but what is the best way to wash the E. I took it to the beach and have vacummed out most of the sand i can get. I am taking it to car was where i spray etc and them going to wipe it off with a shammi. but just wondering any one had a good idea of how to get the sand out, the seat etc are not waterproof etc so i can not take and spray down the inside can I? Just wondering I just got my E a week ago today. I just could not resist taking it to the beach even thought the detailed the crap out of it when i bought it.

The seats are waterproof, at least in the EX they are (according to Honda).
You could always try the leaf blower like some others have posted.

Don't spray out the interior with a hose! Just wet a towel and wipe it out. The leaf blower idea is good but I, for one, don't own one so I suspect you may not either.

I see that you are in Wilmington, I have relatives that live there. I sure hope the hurricane unexpectedly turns north! I've been through Hugo, Fran, and Floyd and don't really like the experience! Stay safe!
