The factory oil filter, a Filtech by the way, not the official Honda but made by Fram filter, was very difficult to remove but eventually came off.
I bought six Honda filters from a dealer but all they had was the Fram built filters. So I put one on.

The first oil filter change is always a bugger. Check HandA as they have the AO1 filters now and both AO1 and A02 are Honda filters but made from different manufactures. Filtec and Fram.
