EMAC. We seldom see much activity here from Florida members. I know the Highlands area well. your right ,it's a very nice place & not very busy this time of year. I do area rides there, close in to Sebring. Let's get a meet set there.. :p

Moldy oldy thread-but St Marks IS beautiful, good for biking, hiking,in the fall it's in the path of migrating monarch butterflys. You can almost always see dolphins at the base of the lighthouse..:)

If you ever want to put together a meet, just let me know. I'll def show up. I know the kids with the Souped up Neons meet almost monthly over at Morikami's parking lot, maybe someone knows somewhere we could meet.....

Markam (or markum, markham??) Park is great. Just forgot how it was spelled. lol. It's in South FL. Good Mountain bike trails and a nice lil park for a picnic. I haven't been for years but have seen relatively recent pics.

Ginnie Springs is also nice. It's just north of Gainesville, FL. Float down the river and enjoy crystal clear springs.

Juniper springs has been one of my favorites. It's off of SR40 between Ocala and Daytona Beach.. 7mi canoe/kayak trail w/ canoe rentals. A very nice canoe trail IMO, the best I've seen in FL. Nice park, nice spring, lots of camp sites.
