I actually went to the junk yard and hugged it goodby, and told it I'm sorry. Just about the weirdest thing I've ever done to a car. So many good memories, girlfriends, dogs, travels, and all the people who stop you and want to chat about it. "Can you really hose it out?" People would ask. Maybe when electric cars become more ubiquitous, their will be a second coming of the Element design.

I did the same thing after rolling my 1990 Isuzu Trooper [ perhaps one of The Inspirations for the design of the Element] on black ice. I think the ability to see out of that car was my favorite thing, the 360-degree view, it felt like sitting in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. The E OTOH has serious blindspots.
"Chewy, prepare 2 make the jump to Lightspeed".
