I bought a Class III hitch for my 2005 Element off Ebay and it arrived a bit bent. When I complained, they sent me another hitch. In the meantime, I figured out I could straighten it out and then I installed it, so that left me with a surplus hitch that I need to get rid of.

The hitch does not have any stickers on it but is exactly like the Curt Class III hitch (https://www.hitchsource.com/images/curt/13574/installsheet/CM_13574_INS.PDF). It requires some cutting/drilling to install, but I found the installation straightforward and I even wrote a tutorial on it in the Hitch section of the forum ("Curt Class III Hitch Made Easy"). The box says, "for 03-06 Honda Element", has a logo that says "MAT" on it, and "Item No.: PTB104006" and "SKU: HD03EL-31003HTX".

I have not opened the second hitch box (pictures are of the hitch I installed on my car; the one for sale is the box with the "Fragile" stickers on it). I can open it if you like to confirm the contents or I can send it on as-is. Box is crushed in one corner. My hitch came with 4 carriage bolts instead of 2 carriage bolts/2 hex bolts required, and I had to go to HD to get the hex bolts for $1.70 each. The Ebay seller assured me this one is not bent, but I don't know -- at any rate, I straightened mine out with my bare arms.

Asking $80.00 plus shipping and this is an as-is sale, no returns. I'm in L.A. so if you are in the area you can pick it up to save shipping. I'm very pleased with mine -- very solid and nice powder-coat finish -- and I would not list it here on the board if I felt it wasn't a good product. Not trying to make all my money back, I paid $120, just don't need it and want to help fellow Element Owners Club members out.

BUMP

No one wants this? I want it out of my garage like yesterday. Make me an offer -- trade or whatever. Would love to have Skreenz for my front windows, side-step bars, a roof rack, curtains, cabana tent, camping stove, or a bike rack -- used is fine.

I just need it gone . . .

Do you still have the hitch? If so how much w/ shipping to Bremerton WA (98312)?

Aloha and Mahalo,
aukaiiki
As of 7 p.m. on Thursday 6/7, yes, it is still available, but that could change.

Based on an estimated weight of 26lbs., UPS says it will cost about $27 to ship. So, PM me with an offer if that interests you ASAP. Thanks.
