2008 Specialized Tri Cross Sport Triple - 52cm (S-T), 53cm (T-T) - $900 OBO
If you are looking for some sort of do all bicycle, I believe this is as close as it gets. This is an all aluminum framed cyclocross / touring / commuter bike with carbon FACT fork with specialized's zertz technowazzit. It has great things like full touring rack eyelets in both the frame and fork, as well as a spot on the down tube for a third waterbottle cage. Ample room on the frame and fork for large tires and/or fenders. Overall it has a long-ride comfort yet light like a road bike feel. It is a 52cm frame size, but with a 53cm top tube it rides as if it is somewhere between a 54cm and a 52cm. Probably good for riders 5' 6" to 5' 11" (maybe shorter). To further aid in the sizing I am also including a space Easton EA50 Stem that is longer to allow the rider to decide which stem is more comfortable.
Worth noting is that there are some rather nice upgrades on this bicycle including a Dura Ace long cage rear derailluer, wide Ritchey Comp ergo bars, light SRAM 9-spd cassette, and super puncture resistant Specialized Armadillo 700 x 28c tires. Also this bike has had a complete overhaul. Not the "yeah I looked at it and it road fine" kind of overhaul but a "complete new cables, new Kool-Stop red brake pads, brand new cork wrap on the handlebars, all wheels trued, all shifting dial in, and clean it as best I can" sort of tune-up. I am also including the original Specialized Borough Sport CX, 700x32C tires as well (in great shape). The only parts showing any real signs of wear are the front chainrings but there is plenty of life left in them, just wanted to mention it.
