Last week, someone side-swiped my '04. She broke my tail light, and created a big long scratch on my rear-left plastic body panel (right through the gas cap).

My question is.. what exactly is that part called (part number even)? And where can I get one for cheap?

The girl who hit my E was honest enough to leave a note, and has already paid me for the tail light replacement. So I told her we'd work together to try to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated!

That sucks. At least she wasn't like some people who would just drive off.

It's called the "Cladding"

Here's the part number: 74450-SCV-A10ZA

Where you can buy(bought parts from them before): http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com...AT&catcgry5=REAR+CLADDING+-+SIDE+SILL+GARNISH

If you look at the pic, it's Illust# 7 for the left rear cladding. Color: BP WARM GRAY METALLIC

List price: $106.47
Their price: $75.94

Diy?

Hi!
I'm eager to hear the next episode in your story. Did you install the cladding yourself? If you ended up taking the part to a body shop, what was the cost for the installation?

As you can imagine, I'm in a similar situation myself, but getting ready to order the "dark gray" cladding, which lizurd tells me *is* the color black.
