Something is bending those delicate fins in the front of my Element... no, I haven't been spraying them with high pressure water from the carwash! I think it's the grasshoppers that are spilling out onto the country roads in September. I don't speed... but could these Orthopteras be mashing the fins? Has anyone else had this happen? Is there a way to make a delicate fix?

Okay. My Element won't drive to Home Depot or WalMart, but I love those CLOUD RIDERS! Big, giant thanks to SHEN for the clear photos of the installation. My spouse wants to know if this modification will void our warranty in any way.

I thought grasshoppers were herbivores. Today I saw a grasshopper eating a dead praying mantis.

Out here we have grasshoppers the size of small chickens
They are the scourge of the earth and will eat everything in their path.
Every ten years we get them in Biblical proportions and they lay waste to years of hard labor. So for every one that winds up in your grill guard, that represents one less to breed.
Best protection is a grill guard.
Peace
