My dealer here in NJ wouldn't match the H and A price either. He did, however, give me a free lecture as to why those "Internet fly-by-nights are ruining it for consumers." :roll:
Needless to say, I subsequently made a nice purchase at H and A, and they shipped the stuff to me really fast (over Memorial Day weekend, no less), and it was very well packed. I was duly impressed, and I ordered a couple of E hats to boot (the only place I've seen them).

I agree with you there, but sometimes you're stuck at a point where the dealer products are your only option (especially if you're not installing stuff yourself).
I think that Honda prices its accessories at an obnoxious rate, and using folks like H and A alleviates this a little bit, but the stuff is still not cheap. I'll bet places like that probably pay a relatively high wholesale price on the stuff to begin with, and so there's simply no *great* deal to be had on new Honda accessories.
Ah, well. At least aftermarket items like the Thule Playpen are fairly reasonable at $238.50 (from another Internet seller as well as Ramsey Outdoor Store in NJ). That thing is soooo sweet. Perfect for the Element lifestyle.
