My 1988 Accord DX had 221,611 miles on it when 3rd, 4th, 5th and Reverse gears gave up the ghost. We were planning on buying our E in September, but with the old girl crapping her tranny, our plans shifted to the left. I have never been more impressed with any vehicle. I'm definitely not in the age group target, and I never knew there was a target until after I bought one. My wife, daughter, two Boxer dogs and I fit comfortably in our E. Awesome family vehicle. We recently went to Seaside, FL in our E, and didn't see but one other E the whole time. Cleaning out the beach sand was a breeze. I'm sold on Honda quality. We're still planning a September purchase. My wife wants one of her own. 8)

Tennessee:

Congrats to you and your family on acquiring an E. I hope you all, including the 2 big dawgs, will be enjoying your E for many safe and happy miles.

Two friends of mine recently took their baby for a holiday at Seaside. Said it was very nice. Bet your dogs loved it too.

Enjoy your E, enjoy EOC and post pictures!

Thanks for the reply.
Sadly, we couldn't take the Boxer Girls to Seaside as the cottage rental agency will not allow pets. They stayed with our vet.
As for pix, I have plenty already, but I cannot figure out how to post them.

Poor Boxer Girls. Well I'm sure you can take them out for an excursion somewhere in the pretty state of TN for some fresh air and mud.

Okay, to post pictures, here's a few thoughts.

Do you have some space provided by your ISP? FTP storage space or an allotment of webspace?

If so, upload there, and paste in the URL with the IMG tag (2nd from right when you're composing a post).

If you have no webspace, then you can find a free host such as GeoCities.

But, there's a trick to GeoCities. They will let you create a hyperlink to text but not photos. Pigs. This forces us to scam on them a bit.

Upload your picture. (They have a file manager utility built in to help you do this.) Let's say your picture file is titled "EBeach1.jpg". Change the name of the file to be "EBeach1.txt". (The file manager utility will help you do this too. It's really simple).

Then use the IMG tag around the URL as follows:

{IMG} http://www.geocities.com/yourusernameblahblah/ebeach1.txt{/IMG}

Another option that GeoCities gives you is building a little photo album, which also allows you to add labels. You can do that, and then just share the URL with us.

Here's an example:

http://www.geocities.com/[email protected]/kimphotos.html

Hope that will help. Or perhaps someone else can explain better!

Have fun!

OK, here goes nothing. This is a picture of our E when we were at Seaside exactly one week ago today. Enjoy. The other two appear to be too big to fit on the screen. Will take more when I get my PowerShot S400 back from Canon.

Pretty E and nice picture! Don't forget to share Dog + E pictures too. I think half of us bought our Es for our 4 legged family members.

This is a picture of my wife and our daughter with our new E on the day we bought it and brought it home. We have a small farm in rural Tennessee, so it is very "vast" out here........another reason we need the 4WD, so we can get up the driveway during the winter snows. Gonna post a pic of my Boxer Girls next..........will work on scaling down a pic of me and our new E.

Haven't gotten any pix of these girls with the E yet. Will do it as soon as my camera gets back from Canon. Had to send it in for warranty repair.

This is a picture of me and our E. Yes, I know my eyes are closed, and the framing isn't the greatest, but right now, these are the best pix I have of us and our new E. BTW, thanks for telling me how to do this. I really appreciate it and am enjoying sharing our E.
