Cold works fine, but turning ON the heat does not.
So i shimmied under the dash and poked my head up. There is a small white gear coupled with a toothed disc that is supposed to turn when HEAT is selected, unfortunetly it doesnt budge. There are no obstructions.
Any ideas?

Same thing happened to me. It was the motor that switches the hot/cold. Luckily under extended warranty. Wasn't cheap to fix.
