She's called 'The Bat Outta Hell'. She's not mine. All the Batmobiles are owned by Bruce Wayne. He just lends this one to me when I'm on the Planet. Yes, I'm guilty. I did that. Not bad for a girl. If you have questions, just ask. It's already morphed beyond what you see here. I just finished the Arc Reactor and am now building the Flux Capacitor. This is what happens when you stop programming computers and building Networks. And I wonder why they won't leave the grandkids with me? Enjoy. I hope I didn't break anything.

She's awesome! Congrats.
The roof rack and grill are intense.
Are there any interior mods?
The inside is crazier than the outside. Currently undergoing her 3rd rebuild so no pictures at the moment. There is a bed, a refrigerator, a lot of rescue gear and then there are the radios. For you Elmers, you know who you are, on TX: 160m-10m G 90, 10m-70cm TH 9800, CB/SSB Galaxy 595b aligned and peaked, Hummingbird Marine Band. On RX: Bearcat 536HP scanner with all the bells and whistles, ATS-25 wideband, Emergency weather alert, Air Traffic Control, Microwave detector, Geiger Counter, Sony Hi Power Stereo. I can record just about anything from .5Hz to 2x10^30Hz. There is a small 8" Television so I can get local weather reports that is hooked to a tiny Blu-ray player. It has multiple cameras and infrared illumination. It is equipped with FLIR so it can be driven with the headlights off in pitch darkness. At the touch of a button the PA system plays the '66 Batman theme song over that speaker on the rack. Lots of switches for the lights and antennas. Heated seats. Mollie seat covers. An ejector seat button and a missile launching system. Extra gauges, 400w amp on the stereo, 200 watt amp on the CB/SSB. She just got a heart transplant, new engine. I just finished building an Arc Reactor and I'm about to build the Flux Capacitor. When those are installed I'll take some pics of the finished product. Then I'll be leaving this time line. It's a bigger mess than this car.

I love this! It’s over the top in all the right ways. Can’t wait to see the inside. What’s the story on the dino/dragon building?

That's a giant Muskie fish. This is at the Big Fish Restaurant just West of Bena MN on Hwy 2. Whenever I come across a roadside attraction I can park near, I do, and I get pictures. As soon as I start taking pictures, everyone in the area grabs their phone and starts taking pics too. It causes problems. The food is very good here. Not cheap but excellent. Back in the 40's-60's the restaurant was inside the fish. It was very small and not up to code so they built the building to the left and opened up there. Now they store the lawnmower, signs and holiday decorations in the fish....when it's not eating Batmobiles.

I has a tiny Sony digital recorder with a 32GB chip in it. I've got most of the Batman Movie theme songs and Meatloaf. The original '66 Batman theme is the one they love to hear. And yes, we do have costumes. I've been doing this to cars for 50yrs so I probably have a bit of experience on you. My first mods were to my bicycle. I was a hippy in the 60's and 70's (still am) and I lived in a modded Land Cruiser for 2yrs while traveling the jeep trails of Colorado and Wyoming. It gave me a lot of insight as to what you really need and how it should be built. Every time I get a good platform, this happens.

What a fun build! And it looks like you lowered it. That's a change. I kind of like how lowering an E makes it look more beefy. Thanks for posting you E!

Oh, what are those flares on the wheel wells?
Not lowered. Stock. Just huge tires and 1.5" fender flares. They are coming off and being replaced with 3.5" flares when the temps make it above 0F. Tires are still throwing a lot of mud on the doors. The flares are rubber and practically indestructible. Hulk 4x4 HU2103 3m 3.5" (89mm) PVC Fender Flare - with Mounting Hardware | eBay They aren't as clean as the hard plastic ones but these you can bounce off the top of a telephone pole and they won't be damaged.

Yes that is an large IR illuminator and yes it has FLIR. A simple dash cam has IR illuminators and can see IR. I just added a whole lot more IR and can now drive in the dark. It does have inherent dangers. No one can see you and may hit you. Don't try this on the streets kids. I use it at the dump to photograph bears without disturbing them too much. I live in the boonies, like deep boonies way the F out here. To me, it's home. The dash cam has an 11" screen and mounts on the rear view mirror. It can see front and rear and record both at the same time.

We always see the owners little lists of their mods of which they are rightfully proud. (My 05/EX/A4/4WD is dead stock + fogs and nerf bars aka side steps/running boards) But I am an old person and don't need to take my car mountain climbing, or go fast, or blow my ears out any more than the great stereo that came with the car. Apparently you are old, too but that didn't stop you from building this awesome E! Congratulations on an amazing E. YOU WIN! Like everyone on this site, I'd love to see more when you and your E are ready.

Someone once asked me what I was going to do when I retired. I thought for a minute and said, "Chase tornados in a Batmobile". I probably should have thought for two minutes. I'm sure it would have only gotten worse. I've been chasing for some time but the car didn't always look like this. When the pandemic hit, everything was closed, everyone was depressed and thought they were going to die. Many did. I lost two. I've been building cars for 50yrs and while I don't have the skills to end a pandemic, I do have the skills to bring hope to the hopeless. So I went to work and created this. When people see the Bat coming down the road, they just smile, it lifts their spirits and ignites that spark, Hope....and that's all it takes to change a World. If everyone did what they could, the World would be a much happier place. Fighting Hate is my Superpower. If the Bat put a smile on your face, we won this round.
