WD40? Bad idea. It eats certain plastics for lunch, some right now, and some a year from now.

The only thing good 'ol WD40 is good for these days is removing sticker and decal glue-----works great for that.

So does anyone know of any sensors, relays etc that are hidden under the hood that I could check?..All the fuses in the fuse box are fine...I had to have shorted something out under the hood. How about the computer?...Where is that located at?

Any help is appreciated

The Computer is behind the glove box inside the car. How much water did you get on the under the hood fuse/relay box?

The fuse box is dry, and I even dried it anyway. I got it towed to a garage this morning. I went over everything the average guy can do, and it still wont fire..I will keep you posted as to the results

I'd be interested too. I used to do this all the time with my 1996 Mustang and my wife's 2000 Beetle (both I no longer own). Hey with the salt up north, you almost have to. Never had a problem with those, but I would always leave the engine running.

Just don't try to remove sticky stuff off your black panels....they fade where you rub them...:roll:
