I had my new SLM 4WD three days and took it to a do-it-yourself carwash. There was a rinse cycle which had some type of wax in it. This dripped on the plastic cladding and I cannot figure out how to remove it. I have read the various topics here but they seem to refer mostly to how to care for the panels -- but not what to do if you have already made a mistake. The orange cleaners and other cleansers all have a precautionary warning about using on molded plastics ... Help ... I am so discouraged to have these unslghtly streaks ...

I had a similer problem the first time I washed. windex or vinger water will clean the residue off. the you need to re wax.I don't recomend the spay wax cycle. After washing I wax a couple of times a year but in between I use a spay and shine to remove spots from the paint and mother back to black on the panels. Doing this removes all spots and residue on the panels.
