Does anyone know the name of the hose in front of the battery that is open at one end which is in front of the battery. It's like an oval opening. On the top, it says honda PP. Not sure if that means anything. Just wondering what the name of it was and the purpose.

If so, that's the engine air intake.

The PP just means PolyPro, the type of plastic. Most of the rigid plastic parts in the Element have this label.
