When you see other Elements driving down the road - do you wave, flash the lights or something? My family told me that I couldn't wave at every Element and driver when I see them, so I stopped. But, when I see one with my exact same color (which is rare) I always try to make eye contact and give them a "salute." Do you do anything like that??

My best and most memorable experience was just a few days after I got mine. A beautiful young lady who was also driving an Element came up in the left lane beside me at a traffic light, looked over at me and rolled her window down. I rolled mine down too and she said "I really like your car".

I'm a flasher...

For two reasons, I just bought my 03 EX SOP 4 days ago and I am uber excited and, it's habit after having a Porsche. They did a big " bring back the flash ". I 'll wave, smile, high five ( at low speeds )whatever. We knew what we were getting into when we joined this club.

You're right about the color! I find, though, that most of the other E owner's that I see on the road are "just driving a car"-they don't really seem to pay any attention to my TRP-E and me!

When I first got my E, I tried to greet every other E driver. But most of them ignored me or looked the other way, one female driver acted like she was going to call a cop. I dont wave or flash my lights much any more.

I always want to see inside, try and figure out what they use their's for, etc. I get excited when I see the Kiwi one going the opposite way from me every morning! that was the color I originally wanted, but my '06 had all the options plus some in the Tangerine! so, if you wave @ me in gainesville ,fl I will def wave back!

I always liked seeing bikers wave at each other. So I tought it would be nice to start the same thing with Element owners.

I do it every time I see one. I'm glad to see I am not the only one being a little weird:evil:

So pleae continue waving at Element owners and maybe someday it will be as known as the "biker wave". Who knows:grin:

since i got my E all the other Edrivers in my area would throw their hand up, as would i, but now it seems that only the plastics wave and the metals just look grumpy.

I wave at all E's but few wave back. For that matter, I saw less than 20 E's in two months in MT and WY to wave at but as soon as I crossed into Eastern NC, there were E's everywhere!!! Maybe the E is more of a beach car than a mountain car?????
