I just got my Element a few days ago...it did not come w/ a manual & was wondering if anyone can tell me how to take out the rear seats?? I'm sure it's somewhere in the forum but I can't seem to find it 
How to remove rear seats? (No manual with E)

It's a bit hard to describe without pictures.
There is a plastic cover on the side of the seat ( not the middle where the seats come together) that has a tab at the top. You simply squeeze that tab and the cover will remove. You will then see a small diagram showing you how to do it from there.
Be sure to pull the yellow tabs underneath the seats to release the bottom bracket. It's pretty straightforward from there.

perfect..thanks! The element had one owner before me and they leased it so you would think there would be a manual still w/ the car...but of course not
