Hi. I am new to this forum and hope it's okay to post in search of an E. I live in central NJ. It's time to let my 98' CRV go (it's been great, no problems but it's time...) and I would like to buy a Kiwi E, low mileage 2008 if possible (since the color did not reappear in 2009...!). Postings on Craig's List have so far only lead to all manner of disgusting scam replies. Do we on this forum have a way of getting the word out when we're searching? Maybe someone bought one and found it doesn't meet their needs now, or for other reasons need to sell.....
I also check Edmunds and AutoTrader....I am finding the prices to vary dramatically for what appear to be same features and similar mileage - but in any case, have run across very few so far.
Thanks for any insights/help!!!! Much appreciated. Again, I hope this inquiry is okay. I wasn't sure who else on earth to ask!

why not look in the trading post (classifieds), then try the dealer specific areas.

ebay & autotrader.com are also good places to look.

quick search of Yahoo Auto pulled up a couple in your area - there were a bunch of others but that would involve you flying and buying, would be a great road trip though - we've had other members do it.

I like you JJthink. Kiwi is the ultimate color and the wisest choice. I believe the 07 is identical to the 08 -I could be wrong- so why not expand on your search and consider them too.

Hi Margaret, Thanks! And I agree - though preferring 2008's, am also considering 2007's. Thanks ORANGEE - I had seen those - really appreciate you looking for them. goosler, thanks, have been following AutoTrader and Edmunds (same listings I think), Craigs List and others. Will check E-bay more.

What I am trying to figure out is whether:
1.) There is a way to let dealers know what one is looking for without contacting every single dealership individually - you know, some kind of central place where a dealer can cross check their inventory against the wish list of those wanting to purchase certain types of vehicles
2.) This forum has a mechanism for letting each other know of E's up for sale and for those looking for an E to post what they are looking for. Ahhh, wait..I see that "Shopping" might be the place for this.

I appreciate all insights and apologize if this isn't the best place to post these questions - I wasn't sure what category was best.
